Genome-wide characterization of Major Intrinsic Proteins (MIPs) family in Momordica charantia

چکیده
Major intrinsic proteins (MIPs) family include the group of also called channel or water channels. Aquaporins facilitate transport and other uncharged small molecules, forming pores in cellular boundaries which help plant growth, development, sometimes adaptation. They usually have six tranSmembrane alpha-helical domains with conserved amino acids residues along hydrophobic hydrophilic regions. Though aquaporins were found both animals plants, bacteria, fungi cells, it comprises largest most complex species. A little is known about Momordica charantia. About 25 its are characterized this study. The M. charantia divided into five sub-families here, they PIPs, TIPs, XIPs, SIPs, NIPs. There twelve three eight NIPs, one AQPs XIP SIP. In subfamily, contains SPI than NPA motif. Moreover, SIP NIP subfamily contain different motifs loop B E motifs. McSIPs NPT McNIPs NPS (McNIP1; 1, McNIP1; 3 McNIP3; 1). Again, NPV (McNIP2; 2, show transportation possibility molecules' through those proteins.

Genome-Wide Sequence Characterization and Expression Analysis of Major Intrinsic Proteins in Soybean (Glycine max L.)
Water is essential for all living organisms. Aquaporin proteins are the major facilitator of water transport activity through cell membranes of plants including soybean. These proteins are diverse in plants and belong to a large major intrinsic (MIP) protein family. In higher plants, MIPs are classified into five subfamilies including plasma membrane intrinsic proteins (PIP), tonoplast intrinsi...
متن کاملBioinformatics Genome-Wide Characterization of the WRKY Gene Family in Sorghum bicolor
The WRKY gene family encodes a large group of transcription factors that regulate genes involved in plant response to biotic and abiotic stresses. Sorghum is a notable grain and forage crop in semi-arid regions because of its unusual tolerance against hot and dry environments. We identified a set of 85 WRKY genes in the S. bicolor genome and classified them into three groups (I–III). Among the ...

Bitter gourd (Momordica charantia) is widely cultivated as a vegetable and medicinal herb in many Asian and African countries. After the sequencing of the cucumber (Cucumis sativus), watermelon (Citrullus lanatus), and melon (Cucumis melo) genomes, bitter gourd became the fourth cucurbit species whose whole genome was sequenced. However, a comprehensive analysis of simple sequence repeats (SSRs...

Malaria and other vector-borne diseases contribute to the major disease burden in India. One of the methods to control these diseases is to control the vectors for the interruption of disease transmission. In the past, synthetic organic chemical insecticidesbased intervention measures for the control of insect pests and disease vectors have resulted in development of insecticide resistance in s...
